Ownership of My Artwork
I retain all rights to all artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold & commissioned original artworks. I retain the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork I create unless the collector has purchased the full or partial rights to the artwork (this is an additional cost on top of the purchase price of the original). Please contact me if you would like to purchase additional rights to an original.
When you purchase an original or a print, you have the right to display the artwork, in your home or business, but you may not reproduce the artwork in any way without my written permission.
If the artwork ends up being reproduced in a magazine or other media, please credit me as the artist.
Return Policy
All sales of original artwork are final.
All art prints are made to order and are final.
If there are any issues with your order, please email me within 7 days of delivery. Please note that I am not liable for any damaged, lost, or stolen packages.
Shipping Policies
Incorrect Shipping Information: The buyer is responsible for providing correct shipping information. Orders will not be refunded for lost/mis-delivered orders due to the buyer providing incorrect shipping information. Orders will not be refunded if they are returned by the carrier due to the buyer providing incorrect shipping information, and the buyer will be responsible for additional shipping costs to the correct address.
Domestic Shipping: Order processing times are 7-14 days. A tracking number will be provided at time of shipping. We are unable to process refunds or resend potentially lost orders until packages have been stuck in transit for the timeframe specified by the carrier (USPS) to file a claim.
International Shipping: The buyer is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
The buyer is responsible for all import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are imposed once a shipment reaches the buyer’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the buyer. Carrie K. Studio has no control over these charges, nor can Carrie K. Studio predict what they may be.
Customs, duties, and taxes are non-refundable: so a shipment that is refused because of unexpected import fees, the cost of the original shipping and any return shipping charges will not be refunded. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond original delivery estimates.
To avoid a delay in receiving your order from customs, I strongly suggest:
- Providing a phone number where you can be reached by customs when your order arrives. This phone number will be listed on the commercial invoice so customs can reach you to clear your order.
- Please do not refuse a shipment or ignore requests from carriers regarding duty and/or tax liability charges. Be aware that most carriers will hold a shipment for 5 days after arrival in your country before they return it to the sender.
We do not refund original shipping charges for goods that are refused for delivery at customs.
International shipping times can be unpredictable and sometimes lengthy. Please allow up to 40 business days for shipments to arrive. We are unable to process refunds or resend potentially lost orders until packages have been stuck in transit for the timeframe specified by the carrier to file a claim.
