When I was a young kid, there used to be a chipmunk that lived in his burrow on the hillside by the front door of our lake cottage. He was a cute little guy – he only had half a tail and we called him Stumpy. We would toss a couple shelled peanuts outside when he showed his sweet little face and I remember watching him scramble over to crack them open and eat the little brown nuts inside. At the time, this relationship with Stumpy seemed so magical and unique, it filled me with a wonder that can only be experienced by little kids learning about the world.

About the Print
My open edition giclee art prints are masterfully printed on 100% cotton rag with pigment-based inks for archival quality — that’s 200 years of beauty. Each one is printed and cut to order. These prints are sourced from my beautiful collection of 4×6″ charcoal pencil and linoprint originals titled the Fauna Collection. Created together in October 2020, they are a meditation on the diversity of wildlife found in our back yards. Many of the creatures featured are characters in my own life story. Now it’s time for them to have a place in your home.
