Misty of Chincoteague was one of the first books I remember reading all by myself. The enchanting stories of that sweet Chincoteague pony ignited my love for adventure tales and the intelligent wild animals that change young lives forever. I had a feverish wish for a special animal companion (preferably a horse), and this book was the first of many that let me vicariously live that dream.

Fauna Collection

This collection of beautiful 4×6″ charcoal pencil and linoprint originals were created in the month of October as a meditation on the diversity of nature found in our back yards. Following prompts from the Wild October draw list, many of the creatures featured are characters in my own life story. Now it’s time for them to have a place in your home.
