Misty of Chincoteague was one of the first books I remember reading all by myself. Because of the stories of that sweet Chincoteague pony, I fell in love with both adventure stories and intelligent wild animals coming into the lives of young people, changing them forever after — usually for the better. I had a feverous wish for a special animal companion (preferably a horse) and this book was the first of many that would let me live out that dream vicariously.

About the Print
My open edition giclee art prints are masterfully printed on 100% cotton rag with pigment-based inks for archival quality — that’s 200 years of beauty. Each one is printed and cut to order. Due to this, your new print may take two to three weeks to produce and ship. For international shipping, please read the FAQ carefully for best practices and order processing times.

The 8″x10″ art print comes with a 1/4 inch white border. Borders are helpful when matting and framing are in your art print’s future (which I highly recommend for optimal enjoyment and protection). The 4″x6″ print size is borderless, meaning the print goes from edge-to-edge.

These prints are sourced from my beautiful collection of 4×6″ charcoal pencil and linoprint originals titled the Fauna Collection. Created together in October 2020, they are a meditation on the diversity of wildlife found in our back yards. Many of the creatures featured are characters in my own life story. Now it’s time for them to have a place in your home.
