I don’t think there’s a person alive who doesn’t have some lovely memories made all the more magical and mystical by the presence of these little light buddies. Catching them between your two cupped hands in the warm summer night, or watching them lazily wander the forest during an evening walk. Something you may not have known is that some species of fireflies synchronize their flashing, creating undulating waves of light into the night. Holy wow!

About Linoprints
Each linoprint is unique, individually hand-pressed onto acid-free, tinted paper by linoleum block with hand-rolled rich ink. It important for me to say that I do my best to keep things as consistent as possible, but because of the hand-made nature of these prints, the original linoprint you receive will be just like a fingerprint – ink texture and firefly placement unique to your piece. If you do not like variation in your prints, a hand-pressed linoprint may not be for you.

Fauna Collection

This collection of beautiful 4×6″ charcoal pencil and linoprint originals were created in the month of October as a meditation on the diversity of nature found in our back yards. Following prompts from the Wild October draw list, many of the creatures featured are characters in my own life story. Now it’s time for them to have a place in your home.
